I can't progress in the game because I can't climb the gate in Damocles Chamber! What do I do?

We are aware of an issue which may affect some players progress in St Francis Folly.

When entering the Damocles chamber you come to a gate similar to others in this tower. In order to get over the gate you must pull down the block from above the door with your grapple and push it underneath the gate to allow you to jump up to the hole and out the other side.

What we have noticed is that if you pull the block too much and too quickly as it falls then the block may end up pulled on to it's side which is too low to allow you to jump up and over the gate.

In order to get this right, you must use your grapple to pull the block but pull it slowly and just enough so that it falls out of it's hole on it's own accord. Dont keep pulling the grapple when it's about to fall. This will land the block on the correct side and allow you to proceed.

If you have encountered this problem already, you will have to start the section again. You should be able to do this by killing lara and reloading the checkpoint. To quickly kill Lara at this point, pull the lever for the gate and walk in!
