Windows Media Player (WMC) is launching after I quit Tomb Raider Anniversary, how can I stop it?

In order to stop WMC from launching when you quit the game, try the following:

  • Find the shortcut for the game on the desktop

  • Right-Click on it and select properties

  • In the "Target" box, scroll to the far right and delete anything after the double quote marks

  • Click Apply and Ok

Run the game again after this and hopefully WMC wont load once you quit the game.

What is your experience of Virtual CD/DVD drives?

I have a couple of virtual drives that I use all the time.

I have one installed but have never used it.

I'm aware of them but have never needed one.
